MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the MPAF is to support projects that use science-based knowledge to educate mental health professionals and the public about psychological issues and promote the public welfare. In conjunction with its mission, the MPAF seeks to partner with community organizations on behalf of underserved populations.

GOALS

The goals of the MPA Foundation are to:

ψ  Develop, implement and/or support innovative mental health programs for underserved or stigmatized populations.

ψ Develop, publish and/or disseminate cutting-edge science-based materials for
purposes of public or profressional education.

ψ Recognize achievement in the profession of psychology and in graduate psychology training through relevant awards.

ψ Conduct fundraising ventures to underwrite MPA Foundation activities.
